Overview of Position:
Custodial Attendant will prepare park and surrounding areas for public use. Custodial will be responsible for the following -
- Pick up small trash in all areas of the park before, during, and after park operating hours.
- Maintain cleanliness of all park restrooms – scrub restroom floors, stock all restroom locations, place restroom signage as needed.
- Empty all trash cans within the park and parking lot.
- Wiping down trash can, lounge chairs, and seating areas
- Clean up guest’s bodily excretions adhering to Safety regulations.
- Assist in cleaning Luau grounds – cleaning tables and grounds of trash after an event.
- Maintain Custodial inventory and complete assigned Custodial checklist.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum age requirement is 16 years of age.
- Ability to read and comprehend documents such as instructions, safety rules, and procedural manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Must have effective oral skills to communicate with guests and co-workers.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, customer service and teamwork skills, maintain positive working relationships, promotes a cooperative, courteous, friendly, accommodating and respectful attitude towards guests and co-workers.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently
- Able to work weekdays, weekends, nights and holidays.
- Must be able to lift, pull, push and carry up to 40 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to repeatedly bend, stop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, push, pull and reach above the shoulder.
