Job Overview
As a Publishing Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the dynamic world of publishing Men's Adventure novels, a rising genre on Amazon that can include LitRPG, Romance for Men, and Haremlit. You’ll support the publishing team by managing content production, helping edit materials, and assisting with marketing efforts. Your passion for storytelling and keen eye for detail will help elevate our projects to new heights!
What you’ll do
- Administrative tasks, such as creating schedules, conducting research, and responding to emails
- Collaborate with writers and editors to produce high-quality content that engages readers.
- Assist with editing and formatting manuscripts for publication
- Assist in the management of social media platforms such as Tiktok, Facebook, and Instagram to promote published works and engage with our audience
- Utilize tools for visual content creation and video editing.
- Website maintenance
- Prepare books for shipment
- Participate in post-production processes to ensure polished final products.
- Work with artists to develop commissioned artwork for promotional usage as well as covers
Requirements
- Strong editing skills with a keen attention to detail and a passion for language.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and external partners.
- Proficient writing skills that demonstrate creativity and clarity across various formats.
- Familiarity with social media management strategies to enhance audience engagement.
- Proficiency with Google Docs, Word, and other basic computer knowledge
Ideal candidates will have experience writing fiction or working as a ghostwriter
This hybrid position is ideal for a detail oriented person who is interested in the writing/publishing industry and is looking for employment with flexible daytime hours.
This part-time position is experimental with potential for full-time, permanent placement. Training will be provided. Potential candidates will be contacted promptly for consideration. The posting will come down when an ideal candidate is selected.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
