Position Overview:
We are seeking hardworking and motivated Concrete Laborers/Finishers to join our crew. This role involves assisting with the placement, finishing, and repair of concrete on a variety of projects, ranging from residential driveways to commercial and municipal work, including occasional prevailing wage projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing job sites, including setting forms, grading, and compacting.
- Place, spread, and level concrete using hand tools and power equipment.
- Operate small equipment as needed (plate compactors, saws, mixers, etc.).
- Support finishers in troweling, edging, and jointing work.
- Perform general labor duties such as loading/unloading materials, site cleanup, and tool maintenance.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized job site.
- Work efficiently as part of a team with a positive, can-do attitude.
Qualifications:
- Previous concrete or construction experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate.
- Strong work ethic and reliability—no slackers, no-shows, or excuses.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting, bending, kneeling, standing for long periods).
- Willingness to learn and grow with the company.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
