As a family business, we take pride in delivering high-quality, bespoke designs tailored to each client's vision. Our owner and designer, Montana, personally collaborates with clients to bring their dream furniture pieces to life, using their choice of wood, hardware, and finishes.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Woodworker at Westwood Vintage Designs. The Woodworker will be responsible for carpentry, using a variety of power and hand tools, woodworking, cabinetry, and creating custom furniture pieces according to client specifications.
Qualifications
- Carpentry and Woodworking skills
- Proficiency with Power Tools and Hand Tools
- Experience in cabinetry
- Attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship
- Ability to interpret technical drawings
- Creativity and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina and strength for lifting and working with wood
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- We can train, but some Woodworking experience is preferred.
- An official driver's license
Details: Hours: Flexible, but generally it is 7 AM - 3 PM. If you want to start earlier to end earlier, that is also okay. If you have prior commitment such as another job, or children; we can work around it to try to make it fix.
Pay: Starting pay is $18/hr. If you have more experience to start, or if you stay with the company and improve your skills, pay can be negotiated to be higher.
