TEMPORARY POSITON TO BEGIN IMMEDIATELY
Requirements / Qualifications
Must possess ability to relate with children or high school aged students and adults. Must demonstrate aptitude for work to be performed. Must possess skill and ability to work with at-risk and/or special needs students. Must possess computer literacy and ability to follow a structured schedule. Must pass the CODESP instructional aide exam, or complete 48 units of college credit, or posses an AA degree. A DOJ background clearance will be conducted. TB test and gradation from the 12th grade required. No experience required, but one year of working as an instructional aide in a paid or voluntary situation is desirable. Physical Requirements: Required the ability to lift 25 to 40 pounds occasionally and to be able to bend, reach, and work standing for short periods of time. Duties will also require the ability to supervise students on playgrounds in inclement weather.
