Qualifications:
Associates degree or higher; or at least sixty (60) semester credit hours from an accredited institution of higher education; official transcript required to validate education; ability to effectively attend to the needs of school-age children under the direction of a classroom teacher and school administration.
Specific Qualification:
Successful candidates must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Adobe, Kidspiration and/or Inspiration, and other school based software.
General Performance Responsibilities:
Provide instructional staff support performing paraprofessional work in assisting teachers and students. Work with students individually or in small groups by providing instruction in reading, writing, math, spelling, art, or other education-related activities as directed and assigned by teacher(s) and school administration.
Calendar:
This position works the 186-day calendar; 7.5 hours daily
