Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience
- Assist customers in selecting products
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending additional items to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts to ensure product availability and visual appeal
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Support cashiering duties with basic math skills for accurate transactions and receipt handling
Experience
- Prior retail sales experience is preferred, especially in retail stores or similar environments
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math is essential for smooth daily operations
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a lively retail setting
- Ability to handle 40 lbs or more of freight packages
