Role Description This is a full-time role at one of our Gulf of America Bases in a Bell 407 with opportunity to progress into our S76 IFR program. The pilot will operate company aircraft on scheduled and unscheduled flights, ensuring safe and efficient transport in accordance with all applicable regulations and company procedures. Daily responsibilities include performing thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections, monitoring weather and flight conditions, and maintaining accurate flight logs and operational documentation. The pilot will coordinate closely with operations staff, maintenance personnel, and customers, maintain clear and professional communication, and participate in safety briefings. The role also involves supporting mission planning, adhering to risk management practices, and representing Westwind Helicopters in a professional manner during customer interactions.

Qualifications

• 1500 hours Pilot in Command, Helicopter with strong situational awareness and decision-making abilities
• FAA Commercial Rotorcraft Helicopter license with Instrument rating
• Current Class 2 Medical certificate
• Experience operating Helicopters across various mission profiles, with a solid understanding of rotary-wing systems and performance
• Familiarity in SMS and risk management practices
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow procedures, adapt to changing conditions, and support a safety-focused culture
