We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential properties. This role requires excellent communication skills, conflict management abilities, and a proactive approach to property maintenance and tenant relations.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws.
- Utilize property management software such as Rent Manager for data entry, filing, and customer relationship management.
- Conduct regular property inspections to assess maintenance needs and ensure high standards of living conditions.
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and conflict resolution effectively.
- Negotiate lease agreements and contracts with prospective tenants.
- Implement sales strategies to maximize occupancy rates through upselling available units.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, maintenance requests, and financial transactions.
- Collaborate with facilities management to coordinate repairs and upkeep of properties.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance tenant satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administration is essential.
- Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs is preferred.
- Strong understanding of legal administrative processes related to property leasing and management.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on conflict management.
- Proficient in office experience including data entry, filing, and phone etiquette.
- Experience using Rent Manager is advantageous.
