Role and Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the Line Mechanics in the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the plant equipment.
Specific duties include:
· Maintain safe work practices and safety awareness, while assisting the Line Mechanics in the repair, maintenance and troubleshooting of the plant.
· Assist with special projects.
· Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to consistently lift 60 lbs.
· Ability to climb ladders, and safely work in tight cramped spaces and heights.
· Requires normal hearing and sight (corrected).
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Maintenance related experience
· Knowledge and experience in plumbing, power transmissions, pumps, welding, fabrication and troubleshooting industrial equipment.
· Ability to maintain quality safety awareness in industrial settings.
· Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
