What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Residential Appraiser position at Westview Valuation LLC?
We are seeking a Certified Residential Appraiser to join our team on a part-time basis, with the potential to transition to full-time. As a Certified Residential Appraiser, you will be responsible for conducting property appraisals to determine their market value. You will assess various factors such as property condition, neighborhood trends, and comparable sales data to provide accurate valuation reports. Attention to detail and a thorough understanding of appraisal regulations and guidelines are essential in this role. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work independently.
In this position, you will collaborate with real estate agents, lenders, and homeowners to gather information and provide comprehensive appraisal reports. You will need to stay up-to-date with industry trends, UAD 3.6 and regulations to ensure the accuracy and reliability of your assessments. The role may involve traveling to different properties within the designated area to perform on-site inspections and gather necessary data for valuation purposes.
- Certification as a Residential Appraiser
- Experience with appraisal software; TOTAL, ACI, etc
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of appraisal regulations and guidelines
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
NOTES:Hybrid/Remote work is allowed.
Fee-Split based on experience. $55,000-$65,000 range.
