Since 1956, Westview Boys' Home has been dedicated to caring for young men in need of love, security, and guidance. Located on a 1,500-acre ranch in Hollis, Oklahoma, the organization provides a trauma-sensitive, evidence-based program to support young men in their development. Additionally, Westview Family Services in Oklahoma City offers preventative coaching and assistance to families navigating challenging situations. Westview is also expanding its impact by relocating its Transitional Program for 18 to 22-year-old young men to newly constructed facilities in Weatherford, Oklahoma.
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Caregiver located in Hollis, OK. As a Caregiver at Westview Boys' Home, you will provide a nurturing and supportive environment for young men while assisting in their daily activities. Responsibilities include mentoring, managing routines, facilitating life skills development, and promoting a safe, structured household. You will also help with day-to-day tasks such as preparing meals, organizing activities, maintaining the home’s cleanliness, and ensuring the overall well-being of the residents.
- Experience in caregiving, mentoring, or providing support to young adults
- Strong communication and active listening skills to build rapport and trust
- Ability to maintain a stable and structured environment while modeling positive behavior
- Flexibility, patience, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage challenging situations
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices is an advantage
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in social work, psychology, or a related field are a plus
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check
