Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood English Teacher to work with young learners in a kindergarten setting. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching children, understands early childhood development, and can create a fun, engaging, and structured English-learning environment for students ages 2.5–6.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate English lessons for kindergarten students through songs, games, storytelling, movement, phonics, and interactive activities.
- Create a warm, positive, and immersive English-learning environment that encourages participation and confidence.
- Manage classroom routines and student behavior effectively in a nurturing and professional manner.
- Adapt lessons based on students’ age, language level, and developmental needs.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, homeroom teachers, and school staff to support student learning and classroom management.
- Communicate regularly with parents and school leadership regarding student progress and classroom performance.
- Prepare lesson materials, teaching aids, and classroom resources in advance.
- Participate in school events, teaching meetings, trainings, and curriculum planning as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Education, Early Childhood Education, English, TESOL, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience teaching English to young children in a kindergarten, preschool, early childhood, or ESL setting.
- Strong spoken English with clear pronunciation and the ability to lead an English-speaking classroom confidently.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage young learners with energy, patience, and creativity.
- Familiarity with early childhood teaching methods such as TPR, phonics, picture books, songs, and play-based learning.
- Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their language development.
- Responsible, patient, enthusiastic, and team-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
- Teaching certification or Early Childhood Education certification.
- Experience with phonics instruction, themed curriculum, and interactive classroom activities.
- Experience in international schools, bilingual schools, kindergartens, or training centers.
- Ability to design engaging classroom materials and hands-on learning activities.
Pay: $25.22 - $30.37 per hour
