What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance and Grounds position at Weststates Property Management Company?
Weststates Property Management is accepting applications for a part time Maintenance & Grounds Tech. Qualified applicants must have a general maintenance and grounds experience , be able to lift 50 lbs at times, must have their own transportation and be a motivated self-starter. A portion of the work is performed outdoors regardless of the season. The position entails maintenance and ground work and the accurate completion of daily paperwork.
Duties include but are not limited to curb appeal which includes lawn care, sweeping curbs, maintaining dumpster enclosures, snow removal(Side walks) etc. In addition this position includes unit and building maintenance such as simple plumbing, electric, painting, drywall repairs, unit turnover, door hardware repair/replacement, changing furnace filters, window screens, etc. Daily walking and climbing ladders will be expected. Applicants must have a professional appearance and strong people skills, primarily dealing with seniors. Job related references will be requested upon interview.
