Pay Structure
We offer two pay structures to our sales team. A base pay OR full commission.
- Base pay: $1,000-$1,500/week for signing 5-8 contracts
- Commission: 12% up to 15% of contracts depending on level of experience.
Responsibilities
- Drive business development by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities within assigned territories through door knocking, cold calling, and networking
- Manage existing client accounts to ensure satisfaction, retention, and upselling of additional roofing products and services.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical sales presentations to educate clients on roofing options, materials, and installation processes.
- Develop strategic territory management plans to maximize coverage and market penetration.
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to close deals effectively while maintaining profitability.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement campaigns that generate leads and increase brand awareness in target markets.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally throughout the sales cycle.
- Coordinate with project managers and technical teams to ensure seamless transition from sale to installation.
- Conduct regular analysis of sales performance metrics to identify areas for growth and improvement.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B & B2C sales, or technical sales within the roofing or construction industry preferred.
- Strong management skills with the ability to oversee territory operations effectively.
- Expertise in business development strategies, lead generation techniques, and account management practices.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for tracking sales activities.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-focused approach to build long-term relationships.
- Ability to deliver compelling product demos and technical presentations tailored to client needs.
- Skilled in territory management, inside sales, cold calling, and direct sales approaches.
- Strong analysis skills to interpret market data and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Effective communication skills for engaging clients across diverse industries including retail, commercial, or industrial sectors.
