NIGHT SHIFT R.N. SUPERVISOR
(Monday - Thursday 10-hour Shifts)

The Night R.N. Supervisor will have responsibility for the smooth and efficient functioning of the Nursing Department and the entire facility. If you have a TAKE CHARGE demeanor then, this is the role you've been waiting for!
Training/Experience Required:
- a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Nursing Supervisor, or Charge Nurse; with 2 years' clinical experience;
- actively engaged in direct patient care/management, recently for a minimum of 2 years;
- graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, and licensed as a R.N. in the State of AL; and,
- in possession of active CPR Certification.
Responsibilities:
- verifies facility staffing , daily, upon arrival;
- completes multiple Rounds on all neighborhoods; monitoring nursing staff performance, daily;
- assesses residents/patients with changes of status, or any incident occurrence, reported by Nurses, or C.NAs; completes R.N. Assessments, as needed;
- interprets facility policies and regulations; ensures the maintenance of a safe environment;
- intervenes in emergency situations that may occur;
- arranges to cover staff call-outs for all shifts, called in during duty time;
- speaks with residents/families, as needed; and,
- serves as a role model, by being professional in appearance, comportment and demeanor, at all times.
