Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of front desk staff to ensure smooth operations and an exceptional patient experience.
- Coordinate scheduling for multiple dental specialties (e.g., general dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery), ensuring efficient appointment flow in a busy, high-volume environment.
- Handle patient inquiries, appointment confirmations, and rescheduling in both English and Spanish.
- Oversee patient check-in/check-out, ensuring accuracy and professionalism in all interactions.
- Manage patient billing
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient concerns and ensuring a seamless experience.
- Assist with maintaining patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality.
- Ensure front desk operations are well-organized and efficient, coordinating with dental providers and other team members to keep the schedule running smoothly.
- Manage collections and follow up on outstanding patient balances.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required (both written and verbal).
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a dental office setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Experience in a multi-specialty dental office or high-volume practice is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental office systems, insurance verification, and billing processes.
- Proficiency in dental software (experience with Dolphin Management preferred)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Strong customer service orientation, with a friendly, empathetic, and professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
