Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Manage POS systems to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy.
- Monitor alcohol consumption to promote responsible serving practices, including checking IDs and recognizing intoxication signs.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering, banquet events, or food service operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings; previous retail math or food industry experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems; familiarity with food safety protocols is essential.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
- Demonstrated ability in customer service, serving diverse clientele with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totals.
- Experience with food handling, beverage preparation, brewing knowledge, or catering is highly desirable.
