Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, offering recommendations and creating a lively bar experience.
- Manage cash handling, POS transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and food handling protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and communicate with management about stock needs.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing laws, health regulations, and safety procedures related to serving alcohol in nightlife or fine dining settings.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender settings is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems ; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple orders efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with food safety practices, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations.
- Ability to manage time effectively in high-pressure environments, balancing serving duties with clean-up responsibilities.
- Experience working in the food industry or hospitality sector; retail math skills are a plus.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
