Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Full-Time 2pm-10pm

Westside Habilitation Center is seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide person-centered nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a supportive residential setting.

We are currently hiring:

• 1 Full-Time LPN mostly 2pm-10pm shifts

As an LPN at Westside, you will play an important role in supporting the health, dignity, safety, and quality of life of the individuals we serve.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Monitor and document client health status and changes in condition
• Communicate with pharmacies, supervisors, and interdisciplinary team members
• Support Nursing Plans of Care and individualized services
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Promote a respectful, caring, and safe environment for clients and staff
• Follow infection control and safety procedures

Qualifications

• Active Louisiana LPN license required
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to respond calmly in emergency situations
• Healthcare experience preferred
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus

Working Conditions

This position involves direct client care and may include lifting, standing, walking, assisting with transfers, and working with individuals who may display challenging behaviors.
