Westside Family Medicine Practice is seeking a personable, reliable and responsible Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant
Responsibilities for Medical Receptionist
-Provide a warm welcome to all patients and visitors to Westside Family Medicine, both in-person, over the phone, and via text based communication platforms
-Work with scheduling team to ensure that provider's schedules are up to date in various office systems.
-Work with insurance team to ensure all patients have insurance eligibility confirmed in advance of their appointment time.
- Collect copays and past due balances (if present) for in-person and telemedicine appointments
-Assist team in after-care for patients by scheduling follow up appointments and providing referrals if needed
-Work with office manager to track inventory of office supplies
-Work with the team to help ensure cleanliness and order in all office spaces at all times
-Assist with rooming patients as needed
Qualifications for Medical Receptionist

-Excellent interpersonal skills
-Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
-Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize workring smooth patient flow and accurate medical documentation. Experience
- One year of prior experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and EMR/EHR management.
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
