Position Overview: As a Part-Time Benefits Support Specialist at Westshore Benefits, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate records of current and new participants in benefit programs. You will also assist with the annual open enrollment process. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process new hire benefit enrollments.
- Process employee benefit changes, updates, and terminations.
- Support open enrollment activities including processing and tracking benefit elections.
- Review completed enrollment data for accuracy.
- Prepare & organize materials and documentation for enrollment meetings.
- Provide general administrative support to the benefits team as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience in data processing or a related administrative role.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
- Fingerprints, background, and credit check required.
Work Schedule:
- Part-Time - 16 hours per week.
- On-site in Tampa, Florida.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
