What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Supervisor Day A position at Westrock Coffee?
We are recruiting for a Production Supervisor for our manufacturing department.
- Direct and coach production operators in the execution of daily/weekly production schedule for multiple packaging lines.
- Efficiently meet and exceed production goals while maintaining safety, quality and productivity while minimizing waste
- Collaborate with the other departments for all production needs
- Review, interpret and analyze production data to determine if adjustments must be made
- Partner with Human Resources in the recruitment, hiring and training of personnel and other employee relations issues
- Encourage teamwork, and build morale among staff
- Provide strong leadership to staff in regards to professionalism, courtesy, adhering to policy
- May conduct period end inventory and routine raw material inventory
- Enforce and maintain SOP's, GMP's, and Safety guidelines
- Maintain time and attendance records and track performance for operators
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Five years supervisory experience in production environment
- BA/BS preferred. Associates degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school required; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to train on any shift and work any shift as business needs dictate.
- Demonstrated professionalism, good work ethic and leadership skills.
- Sound math and analytical skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage and motivate personnel
- Strong initiative, ability to anticipate issues proactively.
- Intermediate computer skills to include Word, Excel, Outlook and AS400.
