What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Production Operator B1 3rd Shift 10P-6:30A position at Westrock Coffee?
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily team meetings with Operators and Single Serve Team Members
- Collect data for Single Serve shift reporting at the beginning and end of every shift
- Ensure Machines are running at peak performance during shift and effectively reporting issues to Supervisor and Maintenance Technicians
- Ensure all recorded information of downtime and machinery adjustments are turned in to Supervisor and shared with Maintenance Technicians
- Responsible for continuing education on all pieces of equipment when opportunities present themselves
- Assist with breaks and lunches to ensure machines are running at peak performance for the full production shift
- Ensure full communication with Material Handlers to have proper raw materials at each machine and removal of non-used materials away from the machines
- If Supervisor is away or on vacation this role becomes the Leader of the shift to ensure that all operations run smoothly

- Willingness to train and further knowledge of Machine Operations
- Ability to improve performance of production equipment and obtain highest levels of efficiency and low levels of production waste
- Ability to train and give constructive criticism to further personnel knowledge of machinery
- Collect data for daily reporting to upper level management
- High school diploma or GED
- Microsoft Office Experience.
