What are the responsibilities and job description for the Farmers market customer service position at Westridge Organic Farm?
We are a certified organic vegetable farm, and sell year round each Saturday at the Dane County Farmers market as well as the Westside Community Farmers market.
We are looking for a couple of friendly folks to help us run our farmers market stands. Saturdays, 6am to 1 - April 11th thru Nov. 7th.
This may be 1 -3 Saturdays a month.
After Nov. 7th we move indoors, Dane County market only) and may need market help as well.
The downtown farmers market is outdoor around the Dane county capital square .
The Westside farmers market is located at 505 S Rosa Rd, in Madison.
Responsibilities include helping us set up and take down the stand for the market ,load and unload van/ trailer, keep items stocked on the tables, greet customers, make change for cash, and help sell our vegetables to market customers.
Farmers Market run rain or shine so must be willing to work outdoors, under a tent in all weather.
Good job for students, or someone looking for extra work on the weekend.
