Group Leader Out of School Time
5 days per week
Hours: Part-time. Afternoon hours only. 2:30pm - 5:30pm
REPORTS TO: Out of School Time Director/Out of School Time Coordinator
JOB GOAL: Under supervision of the Director or designee, supervise children during playtime, ensuring safety and appropriate interactions.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct Child Care:
●Implement age-appropriate activities and learning centers
●Provide individual attention to children as needed.
●Monitor children for signs of distress or potential hazards.
Classroom Support:
●Prepare materials and set up learning environments for activities.
●Lesson plans and curriculum implementation.
●Facilitate small group activities under the Site Coordinator or Program Coordinator supervision.
●Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
Communication and Documentation:
●Observe, document, and communicate concerning behavior to the Site Coordinator, Program Coordinator or Director
●Maintain accurate records of children's attendance and daily activities.
Safety and Compliance:
●Follow all EEC regulations regarding child safety and hygiene practices.
●Participate in emergency drills and procedures.
●Adhere to all reporting requirements regarding child abuse or neglect.
* Performs such other appropriate tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
Salary : $16 - $18
