Job Description

Job summary:

The Clubhouse attendant is the first point-of-contact for owners and guests at Westport by the Sea Condominiums, representing the Condominium Owners Association (COA). They help manage, maintain and keep the Clubhouse and amenity areas clean and tidy. Weekend/part-time, holidays and fill-in.

Responsibilities:

• Be the first point of contact for owners, guests and visitors.
• Oversee the use of amenities during working hours.
• Issue temporary parking passes for guests and owners.
• Answer phones, direct calls and take messages.
• Check email.
• Accept maintenance work orders, owner/guest complaint forms and direct appropriately.
• Maintain the collection of loan out items (sports equipment ,etc).
• Ensure the Clubhouse is kept clean and tidy in conjunction with the contract cleaning staff.
• General clerical work, filing, document management and owner information updates.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Clubhouse Manager, the COA President or delegate.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational and problem solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Hours:

Part-time/seasonal position: Friday 1pm - 6pm, Saturday-Sunday 9am - 5pm. Holidays and fill in days, as mutually agreed. The term of employment would be approximately May 15th to Oct 15th. We reserve the right to modify work hours at any time during employment.

Salary:

$20 per hour, depending on experience.
