Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Writer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry. This role is critical in ensuring smooth communication between customers and technicians while delivering an outstanding service experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assess their service needs
- Write repair orders and provide accurate estimates
- Communicate clearly with technicians and customers
- Recommend needed services and maintenance
- Manage workflow and help keep jobs on schedule
- Deliver excellent customer service and build relationships
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Service Writer (required)
- Strong automotive knowledge (required)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced shop
- Experience with shop management software (required)
