What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Operator position at Weston & Sampson?
Weston & Sampson Services is seeking a licensed Wastewater Operator with 5 years of experience to support the operations and maintenance in and around the South Shore, MA area.
What you’ll do:
- Routine wastewater treatment operations and maintenance tasks
- Assisting with the management of the facility
- Available for on-call emergency coverage after-hours, weekends, and holidays, as needed
What you will bring:
- Minimum MA Full Grade 6C Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator license
- Previous experience working with municipalities
- Additional Water and/or Wastewater Licensing a plus
- Knowledge of MA DEP regulations of plant O&M is required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
- Good verbal and written communication skills, math skills
- Ability to read complex technical instructions
- Must be able to climb ladders and lift/carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Valid Driver’s License
