What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineer I - Structural position at Weston & Sampson?
Weston & Sampson is currently looking for Structural Engineers with 0 - 4 years of experience with a passion for working on projects, designing buildings and bridge structures. The candidates will be required to work closely with a Project Manager to complete assignments. And will be an active participant on a project team to complete specific projects and serve clients. This position is located out of our Boston, Foxborough, MA offices.

What You’ll Do
- Perform structural calculations
- Develop design plans, specifications and cost estimates; and other support services as needed
- Perform field assessments of existing structures
- Assist with construction administration and observation of a variety of structural projects
- Perform structural related tasks for other internal disciplines or groups as well as our external client base
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a structural concentration
- EIT is a preferred but not required
- AutoCAD, REVIT and/or Microstation computer skills
- Experience with structural software packages is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication and technical skills
- Must have a valid driver's license
