Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Seasonal Recreational Complex Manager to oversee the daily operations of our recreational facilities. This role involves managing staff, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining facility safety, and coordinating various recreational activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong management skills, excellent communication, and a passion for creating memorable leisure experiences for our community.
Responsibilities
- Supervise staff including lifeguards and concession stand personnel to ensure smooth daily operations
- Develop and implement operational procedures that promote safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction
- Coordinate recreational programs, events, and facility schedules to maximize usage and engagement
- Monitor facility maintenance needs and ensure cleanliness, safety standards, and equipment functionality are upheld
- Enforce safety protocols in compliance with local regulations and industry best practices
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in recreational or hospitality settings
- Background in facility management or office management within recreational or sports environments
- Knowledge of safety standards related to aquatic facilities or recreational centers
- Prior experience in program development or event coordination is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction
