Job Overview
We are seeking warm and welcoming Hosts/Hostesses to join our dynamic team at Westmont Diner, a leading provider of exceptional dining experiences. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless guest experience, handling cash transactions, and supporting the overall operations of our restaurant.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner, maintaining a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Manage reservations, take orders, and answer questions about our menu, promotions, and services.
- Provide exceptional guest relations, addressing concerns and offering solutions in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist with food service, including delivering food and drinks to guests.
- Offer assistance and communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve knowledge of our menu, services, and hospitality standards.
Experience
- Prior setting is essential.
- Knowledge of food service and hospitality is a plus.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and guest service skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a team and take initiative when needed.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills is a must.
