Greet customers upon entering the store.
Open and close cash registers, performing tasks such as counting money, separating charge slips, coupons, and vouchers, balancing cash drawers, and making deposits.
Learning water testing machine and water chemistry.
Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
Compute sales prices, total purchases and receive and process cash or credit payment.
Operate the Water Testing Station
Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers.
Ticket, arrange and display merchandise to promote sales.
Answer phone, and return messages from voicemail.
Clean shelves, counters, and tables.
Keep floors, displays, and public restrooms clean.
Exchange merchandise for customers and accept returns.
Inventory stock and requisition new stock.
Sell or arrange for delivery, financing, or service contracts for merchandise.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales and customer service
- Strong cash handling and cash register skills
- Proficiency in basic math and retail math
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with stocking and merchandising practices
- Experience with POS systems and product demonstrations
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
- Previous experience in a grocery store setting is preferred
