The Delivery Technician is an integral part of the business whose primary responsibility is to transport medical equipment to and from headquarters to nursing homes and private residences while providing exemplary customer service.
Responsibilities include:
- Transports medical equipment to patients
- Sets up equipment and educates patient/family/caregiver on its basic use
- Assists patients in solving problems regarding equipment use
- Loads and unloads medical equipment from delivery vehicle
- Knowledgeable in equipment usage and maintenance
- Completes necessary paperwork including daily delivery logs and vehicle maintenance log
- Complies with all applicable regulatory requirements
- Possesses excellent customer service skills
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 160 pounds with assistance of ramps and dollies
- Clean driving record
- Active driver’s license
- Negative drug test
- High school diploma/GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with durable medical equipment
- Patient experience
