What are the responsibilities and job description for the Self Schedule CNA position at Westmoreland Manor?
Westmoreland Manor is looking for motivated, energetic individuals to join our team as Certified Nurse Aides! As an employee with us, you will be part of a large, dedicated staff devoted to caring for residents in a County-owned facility. We are seeking applicants able to succeed in a fast-paced environment and multi-task!
Self-Scheduling employees will be required to work a minimum of 72 hours per month, with a minimum of 24 worked on off-shifts (3p.m. -11 p.m. and 11 p.m.-7a.m) and 24 hours being worked on weekends (7p Friday – 7am Monday) per month. Hours not to exceed 1,000 in a rolling year or 32 in one week.
We currently have need on daylight shifts!
Self-Scheduling employees will be given a schedule during orientation. After orientation, employees must submit a monthly schedule of availability to the Staffing Coordinator for approval. This position provides the opportunity for successful candidates to have a flexible schedule and competitive pay rate!
First Shift $31.82/hr
2nd, 3rd, & Weekend Shifts: $36.87/hr.
No vacation, personal, or sick time will be accrued. No retirement plan offered. Self-Scheduling employees will not be eligible for shift differential, meal allowance, holiday pay, or health insurance. Other guidelines, including but not limited to attendance rules, to apply and are subject to change; guidelines must be acknowledged at hire and adhered to or program eligibility will cease.
Qualified Applicants must possess:
High school graduate or equivalency
Physical ability to do heavy lifting
CHRI check done during pre-employment process
Must possess and maintain a current valid PA Nurse Aide certificate
Experience in long term care as a CNA required
