Job Description

A Design Engineer is responsible for completing the following duties:

• Design Layouts
• Perform design analysis for truck and trailer equipment
• Implement product improvements in an evolving industry
• Evaluate and implement design changes
• Projects are functional, easily manufactured, and meet customer expectations
• Dedication to research and development of products
• Designs meet Westmor Industries engineering standards
• Design analyses, drawings, and bills of materials are accurate
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Compensation

• The starting pay range for this position is $65,000 to $90,000 per year. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Training and/or experience in AutoCAD, Solidworks/Inventor, and Ansys or similar software packages
