We are seeking a dedicated Dietary Manager to direct, evaluate, and monitor dietary staff while ensuring compliance with nutritional standards and facility regulations. Dietary Manager Requirements:
- Previous long-term care experience
- Prior management experience in food service or healthcare settings
As a Dietary Manager, you will:
- Oversee day-to-day operations within the dietary department, ensuring efficiency and compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage food service employees, including scheduling, hiring, and performance management
- Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus, ensuring only authorized food substitutes are used
- Follow standardized recipes and special diet orders to meet residents' dietary needs
- Review resident care plans to ensure nutritional requirements are being met
- Provide nutrition counseling with support from a registered dietitian
- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to ensure smooth facility operations
