Room Attendant-westdrift Manhattan Beach

Housekeeping and Room Attendant Personnel to join our team. In this position, you will: 

Perform a combination of tasks, which maintain hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner, there by contributing to a pleasant, positive guest experience.

Essential Responsibilities: 

• Cleans rooms.
• Moves and arranges furniture.
• Turns mattresses, hang draperies as required.
• Dusts furniture and equipment; polishes metalwork and furniture.
• Collects linens for laundering and receives/stores linen supplies.
• Cleans bathrooms and replenishes with supplies.
• Refurnishes room with supplies, towels, etc. as required.
• Supplies own cleaning cart with appropriate supplies for shift.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaner

To qualify for this position, you will need to have: 

• Prior housekeeping experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work as part of a team!
• Ability to use hands to lift, carry or pull objects that may be heavy.
• Understand simple instructions.
• Learn simple procedures and techniques.
• Perform routine work or the same task over and over again.
• Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently
• Work evening and over time as needed.
