- Minimum two years experience in Human Resources required
- Prior experience in healthcare preferred
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- Experience in a health care setting preferred
- Knowledge of state and federal employment laws required
- Talent Management and/or recruitment experience preferred
- Prior experience with computerized human resources information and payroll systems preferred
- Prior experience with benefits administration preferred
- Responsible for assisting in recruitment efforts at the community level.
- Coordinates onboarding process.
- Available to advise on interpretation of human resources policies and procedures.
- Responsible for consistent application of human resources policies.
- Processes all necessary new employee information in a timely manner.
- Responsible for timekeeping and payroll at the community.
- Conducts new employee orientation relative to employee policies, procedures and benefits.
- Conducts benefit administration at the community level.
- Maintains employee files, databases, and information (electronic and paper) per regulation and policy.
- Assists with the development, implementation and execution of employee retention, appreciation, and recognition programs.
- Responsible for Workers Compensation management in the community.
- Completes OSHA record keeping requirements.
- Oversees performance appraisal and wage programs at the community level.
- Manages internal job posting process.
- Ensure compliance of federal/state regulatory guidelines regarding wages, hours, child labor, etc.
- Responsible for routine employment verifications, unemployment and other legitimate requests in accordance with organizational policy.
- Maintains current professional and other license files/databases.
- Coordinates employee meetings in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Schedules and documents exit interviews as necessary.
