As a Housekeeper, your goal is to provide a sanitary, safe, and comfortable environment in which health care is given. You will empty trash and clean countertops, mirrors, bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchens, and living areas in our residents' apartments. We are looking for an individual that acts with love and respect in all that you do, does the right thing all the time, and consistently goes above and beyond!

This opportunity is a full-time, union eligible position. We are seeking a Housekeeper available for 1st shift from 7:00am-3:30pm, working every other weekend and some holidays. Westminster Village offers a competitive wage with an annual increase. The wage scale for this position is $15.97 to $17.97 per hour. Apply now for immediate consideration!
Job Duties:
- Empty and clean trash.
- Clean and fill soap dispensers.
- Clean countertops, mirrors, sinks, toilet bowls and tanks.
- Clean all tabletops, sides, and legs.
- Clean all chairs.
- Spot clean walls.
- Feather dust vents, fans, and ceiling corners.
- Dust lights, windows sills, chests of drawers, tables, heat pump cabinet, baseboard heaters, chair’s, fixtures, blinds, and any other surface needing dusting.
- Disinfect handrails in hallways.
- Clean and fill humidifiers.
- Wash and disinfect beds, bed rails, tub, and shower walls.
- Water plants and throw away dead flowers and stems.
- Familiarize oneself with location and use of firefighting equipment, alarms, and disaster procedures.
- Help and assistance with moving furniture and personal items for resident moves.
- Attend educational meetings planned for this position.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred. Housekeeping experience preferred.
Salary : $15 - $17
