Role Description
This full-time, on-site Life Enrichment Specialist position is based in Muncie, IN. The role involves planning, organizing, and implementing enriching activities and programs for residents to support their physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being. Daily tasks include coordinating recreational events, engaging with residents to encourage participation, and working collaboratively with the community's team to ensure a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere for all residents.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in program planning, organization, and implementation
- Interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with senior adults and team members
- Creativity, enthusiasm, and passion for creating meaningful experiences
- Proficiency in event coordination and facilitating group activities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; related experience and/or a degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Flexibility to adapt to residents’ needs and availability to support events
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
