Westminster Village seeks a Home Service Worker available on a full-time basis working the majority of daytime hours any may include some evenings, weekends, and holidays! The wage scale for this position is $17.51 to $19.51 per hour and is a union eligible position. Westminster offers a competitive wage scale with an annual increase. Job Duties:
- Observation and Reporting: Observe the client's functioning and promptly report any changes or concerns to their supervisor, employer, or a person designated by the client.
- Household Chores: Assist with household chores, including cooking, meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
- Support Outside Appointments: Aid in completing activities such as shopping and accompanying clients to appointments outside of the home.
- Companionship: Offer companionship to clients, fostering a supportive and caring environment.
- Documentation: Accurately complete appropriate records, documenting the services provided to clients.
- Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal care, which may include dressing, bathing, grooming, and other non-medical personal tasks.
- Complete 10 hours of on-the-job training.
Requirements
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent. Current CPR certification is required. One year of experience working with geriatric people preferred.
Salary : $18 - $20
