Westminster Schools of Augusta is a Pre-K through 12 regionally accredited, coeducational, college-preparatory, Christian day school enrolling close to 650 students. The 34-acre campus is in a residential section of Augusta, which is Georgia’s second largest metropolitan area. The school is affiliated with First Presbyterian Church of Augusta (PCA), but the student body and faculty include members from more than 90 different local churches of various denominations.
The Assistant Swim Coaching position in the Athletic Department at Westminster exists to coach Westminster students who choose to participate in the swim program.
This position is for the 2026-27 Swim Season and will be a paid position that could be combined with one of our current teaching or administration positions depending on the candidate's experience and giftings. If a teaching position is unavailable or the applicant is employed outside of the education field, we will consider a community coach.

- Swim coaching experience
- Experience in mentoring and discipling student-athletes
- Must be able to relate with student-athletes
- Ability to effectively communicate with parents and other coaches
- Organization and development of program staff in collaboration with the Athletic Department
- Development and implementation of daily practices
- Intentional development of athletes’ faith and Christian character
- Helping athletes develop their God-given abilities to the fullest
- Being a positive role model for all of the student-athletes at the school
- Management of program budget
- Know, understand and educate coaching staff on GIAA rules and regulations
- Complete administrative elements necessary for advancement of program
- Be committed to partnering with parents
- Assist athletes and families in College Recruiting process when applicable
- Champion the Westminster culture and the Wildcat Way
- Be a contributing member of the Westminster community
- Provide a presence at various Westminster functions as communicated in advance by the Athletic Department
