Minimum Qualifications
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain a Colorado teaching license with a Career and Technical
- Must be qualified to teach concurrent enrollment.
- Minimum of three years of professional experience as a medical assistant or related healthcare role.
- Holds or is eligible to hold one of the following credentials: Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CCMA), Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA-C), Medical Doctor (MD), Certified Nurse
- Bachelor\'s degree in education, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring diverse learners.
- Experience in curriculum development and instructional technology.
- Familiarity with the Colorado Career and Technical Education (CTE) framework.
- Has knowledge and experience of and/or willingness to gain knowledge of Competency-Based Education approaches
- Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English
- Experience and/or skills working with culturally diverse populations desired
