Role Description The Head Preschool Teacher is a full-time, on-site position based in Lincoln, NE, responsible for leading a classroom of preschool-age children and overseeing daily instructional activities. This role includes planning and delivering lessons, implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum, and fostering a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment. The Head Preschool Teacher observes and assesses student progress, provides guidance to support each child’s social, emotional, and academic growth, and maintains accurate records and documentation. Qualifications
- Strong skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development, with the ability to design engaging, age-appropriate learning activities.
- Background in Early Childhood Education and experience working with Preschool and Kindergarten-aged children.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and colleagues in a clear, respectful, and professional manner.
- Knowledge of child development, classroom management, and positive behavior guidance strategies.
