Westminster Memory Care, Lexington South Carolina's state-of-the-art assisted living & memory care community is currently looking for a full time Activities Assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, organizing, and implementation of activities for residents
- Coordinate and manage the activity schedule for residents
- Provide support and assistance to residents with activities.
- Conduct individual and group activities to promote socialization and engagement
- Assist with the assessment and counseling of aging issues
- Collaborate with social workers to address the needs of residents
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of activity planning and scheduling
- Familiarity with aging issues and counseling techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
