What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapy Assistant position at Westminster Communities of Florida?
Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards and guidelines related to employment with Westminster Services and it communities.
- Monitor resident's progress and communicate with the Occupational Therapist (OT).
- Responsible for carrying out established resident's care plan and goals as designated by the OT.
- Assist the OT during resident evaulations.
- Maintain documentation in system of resident's activities, record progress and document billing activities.
- Perform resident's home assessment as part of the discharge process as directed by the OT.
- Perform resident's screening during the admission process and quarterly and annual screeninkg to determine the need for thereapy as directed by the OT.
