We are looking for a Customer Support Associate to assist in building customer relationships and strong sales processes. In this role, the Customer Support Associate won’t just answer questions—they’ll provide consultative clarity, helping customers navigate plans and devices with patience and professionalism.
As a Customer Support Associate, you’ll be trained to support customers exclusively on AT&T cell phone solutions. Through hands-on onboarding, the Entry-Level Customer Service Representative learns how to compare smartphones, explains the benefits of 5G, processes trade-ins, and resolves account-related questions.
Customer Support Associate Responsibilities:
- Introduce AT&T products and services through knowledgeable sales conversations with local customers and homeowners.
- Respond to customer inquiries across AT&T service channels, providing accurate information on cell phones, features, and service plans.
- Handle complaints and service concerns with professionalism and solution‑focused communication to strengthen satisfaction and retention.
- Process activations, upgrades, returns, and transactions with precision while maintaining data accuracy and compliance with AT&T standards.
- Troubleshoot device issues and provide support that improves customer experience, account stability, and long‑term loyalty.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet service goals, refine strategies, and enhance overall sales performance.
- Uphold compliance and data security protocols to protect customer information and maintain AT&T’s professional standards.
Education & Experience Needed for the Customer Support Associate Role:
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Technology, or related field preferred.
- Experience in customer support or retail within telecommunications, wireless connectivity, or subscription‑based industries.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills to explain AT&T cell phone plans, features, and upgrades while resolving customer concerns.
- Proficiency in sales systems, Microsoft Office, and digital tools to manage AT&T accounts, track performance, and streamline workflows.
