These modern and open private rooms are comfortable, well-appointed and tastefully designed. The Lighthouses include the Rose Island, Mission Point, Point Lookout, Cape Henry and Point Roberts.

What You'll Do In This Role
- Perform blood glucose monitoring, inhalation treatments, and other physical prescribed medical treatments/diagnostic test.
- Maintain medication and resident's records, responsible for electronic input of resident's data in EHR system.
- Transmit requests including scans and/or faxes medication refill requests per policy to ensure proper medication administration to assigned residents.
- Communicate and coordinate care with residents and their families.
- Document and lead in the documentation of resident care.
- Inspect the environment, identify environmental problems and initiate requests for correction of environmental problems.
- Identify, report and document incidents and accidents; participate in investigation of incidents and accidents as necessary.
- Complete records and reports as needed.
- Identify clinical and operational problems, and work with team to identify and implement solutions.
- Review, transcribe and implement physician orders.
- Communicate with resident's physicians as directed.
- Implement, practice and assure staff adheres to infection control measures.
- Lead CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistant).
- Assist with daily needs such as bathing and dressing.
- Participate in the orientation of new employees.
- Participate in continuing education programs to maintain competency.
- Support and participate in community and departmental quality assurance programs.
- Ensure that unit practices are consistent with regulatory requirements.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Represents the community and nursing services in professional activities as assigned.

- Maintains positive working relationships between nursing staff and other departments.
- Must be able to climb or descent 3-flights of stairs
- Must be able to stand or walk for an extended period of time and push a wheeled medication cart through assigned unit
The Experience You'll Bring
- Current LPN licensure in the state of Virginia
- Current CPR certification
- Must have at least one year of nursing experience, one of which is in a long-term care facility.
- Flu-Vaccinated
- Experience with Microsoft and Google Applications.
- Compensation: $36.2
