Job Description: As a Paramedic at Westmed, you will be an integral part of our emergency response team,
providing advanced medical care and transportation to over 300 different medical facilities across Northern
California each year.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide efficient medical assistance.
• Perform patient assessments and administer emergency care, including CPR and other lifesaving
procedures.
• Stabilize patients for transport and accompany them to healthcare facilities, ensuring continuous care.
• Operate and maintain emergency vehicles and medical equipment.
• Document medical interventions and patient responses from the scene to the hospital.
• Participate in continuous education and training to maintain and enhance skills.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Knowledge of medical procedures, terminology, and medications.
• Ability to obtain California State accreditation as a Paramedic
• Valid California Driver's License or willingness to work as a non-driver
• Ambulance Driver Certification or willingness to work as a non-driver
• Valid Medical Examiner Card
• Valid ACLS Card
• Current CPR Certification
• A DMV Printout for review
• At least 18 years of age
